Bonita Moore
Bonita LaShorn Seaborn Moore is a Birmingham, Alabama, native and proud graduate of the historic Arthur Harold Parker High School. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University. Currently, she serves as the Director of Operations at the Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center at Morehouse College.
With over 40 years of experience in music ministry, Bonita has been shaped by legendary mentors including Mrs. Evelyn Hardy (The Original Gospel Harmonettes), the late Mrs. Gregory Durr White (Fisk Jubilee Singers), and her high school choir director, the late Mr. Perry Louis Anderson. Her talents have taken her across the country, leading music ministries for churches, associations, and conventions.
A devoted member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Bonita has lent her leadership and musical expertise to the organization, directing choirs for major events such as the Georgia State Cluster/Founders’ Day (2012) and the Southern Regional Conferences (2014, 2016, and 2022), uniting members from five states and the Bahamas.
Bonita lives by the mantra of striving for the excellence that Christ requires. Her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, reminds her daily: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Her greatest joy is being the proud mother of her daughter, Ashley Constance, a Claflin University graduate and professional in the Hospitality Administration field.
